About Skyline at Rancho San Diego

Skyline Church has a rich history starting in 1954 when Skyline Wesleyan Methodist Church was launched. Since launching, we have grown and expanded from a small building in Lemon Grove on Skyline Drive to a 2,000 seat auditorium in Rancho San Diego and a Lakeside Campus. Because of our legacy, there is a sense of community and generations dedicated to reaching people for Christ.

What to Expect

WORSHIP:
We offer a midweek worship and sermon on Thursdays at 6:30 PM.* Our Sunday Worship Experiences are at 8:30 am, 10 am & 11:30 am, in person & online! We will spend the first 20 minutes singing a range of traditional and modern songs, and then hear a 40-minute message that is designed to be implemented throughout your week. You can check out previous messages & services on our YouTube channel before coming!

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
When you come to Skyline Church, there is no specific dress code. We just want you to come as you are! When you get to campus, you will see that some people love to dress up and others come casual.

*Thursday Services are only available in person.

What times are the weekend services?

Where do I go once I arrive at church?

When you arrive on our campus, feel free to park in any available spot. There will be signs with arrows directing you. If you’re unsure about where you’re going, look for Parking Lot Volunteers who are directing traffic.

Once inside, we’d love to meet you at our “Welcome Home” table! Come say hi! We’ll help you get acquainted with the campus, find the Children’s Center, Youth Services, Cafe, and more.

Will the cafe be open on Sundays?

Our Cafe is excited and ready to serve you every Sunday morning!

At our Rancho campus visit us inside and browse our Bookstore Boutique before ordering your morning pick-me-up, OR, look for our NEW Outdoor Cafe Station next to our kid’s playground. The Cafe is open for business Monday-Thursday from 8:30AM to 1:00PM. We would love for you to swing by for a drink!

At the Lakeside campus the Cafe opens every Sunday morning so you can grab your favorite drink before or after service!

Are the church offices open?

Does Skyline Church pass around a Giving Basket?

If it is your first-time at Skyline Church, please do not feel obligated to give. We do not pass around a basket and ask for donations. We’d rather you give with a joyful heart as you feel led than to give out of obligation or begrudgingly. For those who are looking to make Skyline Church their home, we believe that you cannot outgive God and this act of worship is something for you to pray about.
Online giving is quick, convenient, and secure through our Skyline Church App, online at SkylineChurch.org/give, OR, you can put your tithes and offering in the Giving Box as you exit service.

Kids & Youth

We believe everyone should have the opportunity to learn more about their Creator and grow closer to God. Our Children’s Ministry exists to help parents guide nursery through elementary school children in an understanding of who God is and their identity in Him. Join us Thursdays at 6:30 PM and Sunday mornings at 8:30 am, 10 am & 11:30 am!

Our Youth Ministry is devoted to our Middle School & High School students on Sunday mornings, and throughout the week. With games, activities, worship, special events, and messages, our Youth Ministry is tailored to help our students grow closer to God and those around them.
